Roasted King Prawns w/ Coconut Mustard Sauce

This is a beautiful seafood dish from our new Head Chef, Mo. This dish is quite simple to make for your self, and perfect for the warmer months ahead! Ingredients 6 king prawns 80g yellow mustard seeds (soak over night in white vinegar) 100g plain yoghurt 3-4 green chillis 70g ginger 5 garlic cloves 80ml mustard oil 250ml coconut milk 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds 1 teaspoon garam masala salt + sugar to taste Method Preheat the oven at 220 degrees celsius Remove the vein from the prawns and cut into half – length way with shell on. After 4 years as an integral member of the kitchen team, Red Spice Road is very proud to appoint Sungeun Mo as new Head Chef. Born and raised in Korea, Mo kicked off her culinary career working in many of Korea’s best restaurants, across a range of cuisines, before she moved to Australia and joined the Red Spice Road team. Red Spice Road says sayonara to McKillop Street and ni hao to Queen Street!   Melbourne’s favourite modern Asian restaurant, Red Spice Road, is moving from its McKillop Street location to a new space only 100 metres away at 141 Queen Street in October. Melbourne’s favourite modern Asian restaurant, Red Spice Road, is moving from its McKillop Street location to a new space at 141 Queen Street in October. So how do we say goodbye to the venue we’ve known and loved for almost 12 years?  With a massive party of course!
